An understated ivy and silver design built around fine vertical pinstripes, the shirt features silver trim across the V-neck collar and adidas shoulder stripes, with bwin across the chest as Real Madrid celebrated the club's 110th anniversary.

Unveiled ahead of the 2012–13 season, it was worn for the first time away at Sevilla on 15 September 2012 before becoming the shirt of Real Madrid's run to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Drawn alongside Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax, the club began its pursuit of the long-awaited tenth European Cup.

The shirt became iconic when Real Madrid defeated Manchester United in the Champions League Round of 16, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring on his return to Old Trafford.
