Mexican brand CHARLY have recently unveiled their latest partnership with gaming giants Call of Duty, releasing 6 new kits for each of CHARLY's 6 Liga MX teams; Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente, Santos Laguna, Club León, Club Pachuca, Querétaro Futbol Club, and Atlas Futbol Club.
Merging gaming and football, CHARLY have once again created unique designs in collaboration with iconic brands. Star Wars, Day of the Dead and now Call of Duty, Activision is equipped with 6 new uniforms to celebrate it's 20 year anniversary. The 6 Liga MX teams; Tijuana, Pachuca, León, Atlas, Querétaro and Santos have a jersey to call their own, each with distinct colours and patterns relating to the club and it's supporters.
In the same vein as their own club history and god Mictlantecuhtli, life cannot exist without death for Tijauana.
A solid black base only highlights the skull embossed onto the front and back of this jersey. One of the most popular emblems to grace Call of Duty is front and centre; a skull and crossbones-esque print we only expect is a passion felt from fans and club alike - you're Tjiauana in life and death.
You can shop for Tijuana's kit, and represent your favourite club and game in one!
Club León have opted for a shirt design straight out of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
A simple urban camouflage covers from top to bottom, but it's the reverse we love. Modern Warfare's very own skull and lightning bolt make an appearance over the top of a star. Focused on crashing the Liga MX party or lying in wait to pounce - Club León have the tactics down with this kit.
Camouflage, but make it pixels.
A grey-tone jersey graces Querétaro's books and technicalities is the theme. Fluorescent yellow radars and gauges from the game can be seen throughout the shirt and it's safe to say that we're impressed. A kit inspired by pinpoint accuracy and the precise detailing - Querétaro have designed a shirt that surely emulates onto the pitch.
Ready to cook up a storm in the Torneo Clausura this season, Santos are Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 inspired.
The Coahulia Desert arena from the 2009 game is the backdrop to this jersey and the storm brewing alongside it can only excite fans. The game is a fan-favourite and we can't think of a better tribute to nostalgia. Here's to hoping that nostalgia can whip up a 2008- Clausura style trophy to the Guerreros.
What's the theme? Blue. Inspired by their kits of old.
Pachuca have gone for current graphics to spur them to victory; this camouflage is from newly released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3! Whilst others have looked to previous games, Los Tuzos are looking at the latest release for their rally cry into glory.
Focus in on the latest game, Liga MX or Call of Duty dripped in Pachuca colours.
Atlas are looking for a talisman, and Simon "Ghost" Riley looks to be it. The fictional characters spans multiple Call of Duty games and is a sure fan-favourite for avid gamers.
Appearing in his iconic kit, a balaclava and skull face sporting a pair of sunglasses, this shirt oozes composure. His nickname, "Ghost" appears repeatedly throughout. A talisman deeply routed in Call of Duty culture is a perfect for Los Rojinegros, looking to seal another trophy.
