Home shirt worn as worn in the club's first season in the Premiership when they avoided relegation on the last day of the season with a heroic victory over Liverpool. Having joined the side for £1m towards the end of the glorious 1998-99 promotion season, Dean Windass top-scored in both of the Bantams' Premiership campaigns, including a first-half hat-trick in a pulsating match against Derby County at Valley Parade. However, after rejecting a new contract, Windass left Bradford in March of the following season as the side slid towards a return to the First Division
