Notes - Stunning design away shirt released for the Winged Lions' first season back in Serie A since the 2001-02 campaign. The historic club strengthened their ranks with the additions of club-record signing Gianluca Busio from the MLS, as well as former Manchester United winger Luis Nani, but manager Paolo Zanetti would nevertheless struggle to steer the side away from the relegation spots. The repeating triangle pattern pays homage to traditional Venetian mosaics, drawing particular inspiration from that of the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti alla Ca' d'Oro, the public museum and historic palazzo on Venice's grand canal.
