The campaign became a final bow for the great Argentinian, closing the curtain on a 10-year Etihad stay that delivered 390 appearances, 15 major trophies and a staggering 260 goals to surpass Eric Brook as the club's all-time leading goal-scorer. Difficulties with injury and a lack of opportunities restricted the striker to just 20 appearances and six goals in all competitions as City reclaimed the Premier League title along with a fourth consecutive EFL Cup.
