Notes - Polo as worn when I Leoni Alati regained their Serie A status at last, ending a 19-year spell without top flight football for the historic club. Finishing fifth in the Serie B table, the Venetian outfit qualified for the preliminary round of the promotion playoffs, whereupon they would begin a fairytale run that began with a 116th minute winner over Chievo and ended in glory with a 2-1 aggregate win over Cittadella in the finals, cueing celebratory boat parades on the city's Grand Canal. This was the final year of the club's fruitful partnership with Nike, switching to Italian manufacturer Kappa for the following campaign
