The Belgian centre-back struggled for fitness, featuring just 17 times in the League due to injuries but still produced an iconic moment with his stunning long-range winner against Leicester City that put City within touching distance of back-to-back titles. His final game the club came in the 2019 FA Cup final, as City demolished Watford 6-0 at Wembley to ensure Kompany would lift the trophy that saw them winners of England's first domestic treble.
