Notes - Rare 1/4 zip training top believed to have been issued to or worn by a staff member in the season when the side faced a difficult task of replacing Rafa Benítez and Salomón Rondón following their move to China. Steve Bruce who was selected as a replacement was not a popular choice among fans and Newcastle struggled to find a form at the beginning of the season but a good run of results in November and December helped them climb the table and eventually finish in 13th place
