The 2019-20 campaign was a turbulent and ultimately unfinished one for AS Monaco as Les Monegasques secured a 9th-place finish in Ligue 1 after the season was curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Leading the charge with stunning consistency was the prolific striker Wissam Ben Yedder, whose 18 league goals saw him share the Capocannoniere title. The season was characterized by mid-season managerial change, with Robert Moreno replacing Leonardo Jardim, and was visually defined by the club's celebrated new '90s-flavored Kappa kits. It was an unforgettable year of ups and downs that marked Ben Yedder's brilliant debut season and remains a defining chapter in the club's modern history.
