The side nicknamed Barea were the surprise package of the tournament and shocked giants Nigeria to top Group B. In the Round of 16 they overcame DR Congo in a penalty shoot-out to progress to the Quarter-finals where they were defeated for the first time in the tournament, losing out to Tunisia 3-0
