Notes - Away shirt as worn when the Sky Blues continued their rapid ascent back to the upper tiers of English football, doubling down on 2017's Play-Off Final win with a convincing campaign which saw them finish as champions of League One and bring Championship football back to the historic club for the first time since 2012. The league was decided on a point-per-game basis with the final 9 games being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, giving Coventry the title. This unique shirt pays homage to the iconic 1980s kits designed by Hummel for the Midlands side
