Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Costa for the Premier League match against Manchester United, played at Molineux on 2nd April 2019. This was the third and final meeting between the sides this season, Wolves had earned a hard earned draw at Old Trafford back in September and just weeks before this fixture that had shocked United by knocking them out of the FA Cup in the Quarter Finals. The match got off to a lively start and it was Scott McTominay who opened the scoring with a powerful low driven shot to give the visitors the lead, but Nuno Espírito Santo's got back on level terms before the break though thanks to a well worked team goal finished off by Diego Jota. Rui Patrício made some great saves early on in the second half to keep the hosts in the game before United were reduced to 10 men following Ashley Young's second. Late on a calamitous Chris Smalling open goal put Wolves up 2-1 and the side saw out the result to beat United for the second time in 3 weeks. Costa was an unused substitute for the match, the Angolan-born winger made 29 appearances in all competitions for the side this season as they finished an impressive 7th on their return to the top flight. He earned his first cap for Portugal this season in the win over Scotland in October and scored a goal in Wolves' 3-1 win over Spurs at Wembley.
