The tournement saw Porto face Sporting Lisbon at the Estádio Municipal de Braga in a tense final. Porto was leading the match with minutes left only for Dutch striker Bas Dost to spoil the party with a 92nd equaliser. Sporting Lisbon went on to be victorious after winning 3-1 on penalties resulting in their secondTaça da Liga trophy. This patch is applied to the right sleeve.
