Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Bardsley for the Premier League match against Manchester United, played at Turf Moor on 2nd September 2018. The Clarets had lost 2 of their opening 3 games in the league and suffered another defeat at the hands of José Mourinho's side here. A first half brace from Romelu Lukaku saw Sean Dyche's side stay in the relegation zone as Burnley slumped to a 2-0 loss which could have been 3 had Paul Pogba not missed from the spot after a bizarre penalty run-up. Bardsley played the full match against his former team, the ex-Sunderland man was involved in some controversy with 20 minutes to play when he appeared to have an extra nibble at Rashford following a well timed challenge on the young Red Devils forward. Rashford responded with force and was subsequently sent of by referee John Moss while Bardsley himself picked up a yellow. The defender made 23 appearances for the club this season helping them steer clear of relegation with a 15th placed finish.
