Controversial change shirt released by Nike in March 2017. This design was worn three times, twice against Germany (one loss, one draw) and against Malta (a 4-0 win). Some praised it as an improvement on the more complicated 2016 away shirt while detractors felt it was an unnecessary release. This criticism was compounded when the kit was worn at Wembley against Germany and the colour clash with Scotland saw the previous red design re-deployed
