Notes - Mid-range Mercurial Victory boots produced by Nike during the 2013/14 season, based on the elite-model Mercurial Vapor IX but as a more affordable alternative. Built for speed, the Veloce comes with a synthetic that offers lightweight performance and soft touch, combined with revolutionary 'Speed Control' texture enhances friction between foot and ball for seamless dribbling. The boot is designed to mould to the natural shape of the foot, assisted by a textile cloth for additional cushioning and enhanced comfort. The outsole comes with a glass-fibre composite for weight reduction and improved strength, while an eight moulded stud configuration makes up the outsole for optimal traction when used on firm ground surfaces. This colourway was used by Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2013/14 Champions League final, as Real Madrid came back from 1-0 down to win 4-1 in extra time and secrue La Decima for Los Blancos.
