Notes - Pro-level boots released by Adidas from the popular Nitrocharge silo in early 2014. The Nitrocharge 1.0 features a soft Taurus leather forefront upper, with memory foam designed to stay as comfortable as possible while offering maximum touch. The back half of the boot is made with a textile synthetic which provides touch, comfort and water resistance, while the use of 'Energysling' technology by the laces also assists with stability for the foot. The outsole is made with Adidas 'Sprint frame' technology incorporated from the F50 speed silo, providing a better fit glove-like fit to the foot which enhances speed. Energypulse has also been added to the outsole to assist with the shift with weight and allow players to generate and a cleaner and more powerful strike on the ball. This boot has been made with miCoach compatibility, meaning players can monitor their performance with the insertion of a miCoach chip under the insoles to provide high levels of analysis post match. The soleplate features 11 moulded studs, suitable for use on firm ground surfaces. This version of the Adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 was notably worn by then Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard during the second half of 2013/14 Premier League season, as the Reds came up just short to Manchester City in their quest for the Premier League title.
