Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Diouf for the Premier League match against Manchester City, played at the Etihad Stadium on 30th August 2014. A solid performance from The Potters here saw them pick up their first win of the season. Diouf was the star of the show running nearly the length of the pitch to score a superb solo goal on the counter attack. The Senegal international pulled off a delightful bit of skill to deceive Fernandinho before outpacing a back-tracking Aleksandar Kolarov and poking a well placed strike between the legs of Joe Hart to take all 3 points for his side. He played the full match and made 38 appearances for the side this season netting 13 goals and finishing as their top scorer helping Mark Hughes' side to an impressive 9th in the League. This was his first season back in England after a stint in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96, the former Manchester United man spent 6 seasons in total with the Potters before joining Turkish outfit Hatayspor in August 2020.
