The 2014-15 campaign delivered a successful return to European relevance for Monaco as Les Monegasques finished a strong 3rd in Ligue 1, securing a coveted spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds. The season was defined by a formidable defensive record and a run to the UEFA Champions League Quarter-finals, which included a memorable Round of 16 victory over Arsenal. Spearheading the attack were the breakout young talents, Anthony Martial and Bernardo Silva, who both notched 9 league goals, alongside the veteran class of Dimitar Berbatov.
