The Dagestanskiye quickly found themselves at the wrong end of the Premier League table and were eventually relegated finishing 18th. The dangerous Brazilian attacker moved to Stamford Bridge having made just 11 appearances for Anzhi, later winning the Premier League in just his second season for the Blues
