Yankey enjoyed the majority of her career at Arsenal ladies, where she secured her place as one of the club's all-time most decorated players with notably six FA Women's National Premier League titles, one UEFA women's cup and nine FA Cup triumphs. The winger made history in September 2012 by becoming England ladies most capped player with 120 caps in a 3-0 over Croatia, before going on to beat Peter Shilton's all-time 125 cap record to set a new national record in June 2013. Yankey's performances also earnt herself a place in the Great Britain squad for the 2012 Olympics in London that fell short in the quarter-final stages.
