The 2012-13 campaign delivered a year of cup glory and agonizing near-misses for Wrexham as the Reds finished 5th in the Conference Premier. The season was immortalized by a historic victory at Wembley Stadium to claim the FA Trophy, the club's first-ever piece of national silverware. Leading the charge was the clinical forward Daniel Wright, whose 16 league goals proved decisive in securing a play-off spot and a second trip to Wembley for the promotion final. Despite the heartbreak of a late defeat in that final, it was a standout year built on grit and flair that remains a defining chapter in the club's modern history.
