The 2011-12 campaign was an unforgettable, yet ultimately heartbreaking, season for Athletic Bilbao, with the club finishing 10th in La Liga. Under the intense, revolutionary guidance of manager Marcelo Bielsa, Los Leones played a captivating, high-pressing style that carried them to the finals of both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Europa League.
