Notes - Mid-tier adiCORE boots released by adidas in 2009, based off their popular adiPURE II from this time but as a more affordable alternative. This second-generation edition is crafted from genuine ultra-soft leather upper that was synonymous with the adiPURE silo due to their high-levels of comfort and reliable touch that made them a popular choice with the games elite. Inspired by the World Cup models of the 1970s, this design mirrors distinct features of its predecessor with the iconic stripes on the outer and pull-tab at the heel that combines past with present. Comfort insoles feature additional padding around the heel for reduced vibrations underfoot, while the 'TRAXION' soleplate supports a moulded 13 stud configuration suited for use on firm ground surfaces. This edition of the adiCORE comes in a Running White and Black colourway that mirrors the pro-model formerly used by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard in 2009.
