Notes - Mid-range Esito XL boots released by Puma in 2008, based on the popular Puma King XL from this time but as a more affordable alternative. This model comes crafted with a fully stitched synthetic upper designed to offer a similar look and barefoot feel from the brands traditional leather models but with a man-made replacement. A velcro fastened fold-over tongue remains as a statement piece from the King, along with a traditional lacing system that offers a secure lockdown across the foot's bridge. An internal heel counter protects the achilles and aids stability, while the one-piece outsole has been configured with a simple six studded configuration suitable for use on soft ground surfaces. This Esito XL comes in the iconic Black, White and Team Gold colourway that has become synonymous with the King since inception back in 1968.
