Notes - Away shirt as worn when the side were shocked in the Quarter Finals of Euro 2008 by Russia. Holland were placed into a tough Group C alongside Italy, France and Romania but managed to come out on top after impressive 3-0 and 4-1 wins over Italy and France respectively. Van Basten’s men met Russia in the Quarter Finals, and fell behind to a 56th minute Roman Pavlyuchenko strike. Ruud van Nistelrooy spared the Oranje’s blushes temporarily with an 86th minute equalizer to send the tie to extra time. It would be the Russians who capitalised on the extra 30 minutes with Dmitri Torbinski and Andrey Arshavin scoring twice late in extra time to send the Oranje crashing out
