Player - Hotly tipped young shot-stopper Ben Alnwick #22
Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Alnwick during the 2007 period. The youngster continued to be one of many hot prospects between the sticks for England's future alongside the likes of Scot Carson and Joe Hart. He was named in the Young Lions' squad for the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Championships in Holland but didn't feature as England reached the Semis before losing out to the hosts in a dramatic shootout. He had recently signed for Spurs form Sunderland in January but would only make 3 senior appearances during his time with Tottenham before enjoying spells at Barnsley, Charlton, Peterborough and Bolton.
