The 2006-07 campaign was a season of dramatic, mid-table recovery for AS Monaco as Les Monegasques ultimately secured a respectable 9th-place finish in Ligue 1. The year was defined by early managerial turmoil, with László Bölöni sacked in October, before Laurent Banide steered the side to safety from a perilous 19th position.
