Lakić was an unused substitute for this game as Hertha claimed a 2-1 away win over Die Schwarzgelben. This was the striker's first season in the German Capital after transferring from Croatian side Kamen Ingrad. Lakić struggled for consecutive starts making 14 appearances in all competitions for Die Alte Dame this season as the side finished 10th in the Bundesliga. The Croat was loaned out to Dutch side Heracles the following season and had an impressive campaign and was snapped up by Rhineland side Kaiserslautern. The three time Croatia international later spent time with various other German clubs including Eintracht Frankfurt, Hoffenheim and Paderborn.
