Notes - Home shirt as worn when the side played in the Carling Cup Final against Manchester United played at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff on the 26th February 2006. This was a memorable season for The Latics, they achieved a 10th place finish in their first ever campaign in the Premiership and reached the Carling Cup Final after a great triumph over Arsenal in the Semi-Finals. However, here they were hammered 4-0 with a stellar Rooney who bagged a brace for United.
