Home shirt as worn in the Saints' first season in the Championship after the previous year's relegation. Harry Redknapp resigned from the club in early December after becoming unhappy with rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward's appointment to the coaching staff by Chairman Rupert Lowe. Redknapp had also been heavily linked with a move back to arch-rivals Portsmouth since they sacked their manager.
