The 2005-06 campaign was one of stability and attacking brilliance for Kilmarnock as The Killie secured a superb 5th-place finish in the Scottish Premier League. Leading the charge during the first half of the season was the sensational centre-forward Kris Boyd, whose 15 league goals were vital in setting up the team's competitive standing.
