Original (2004) version of the home shirt as worn in qualification for World Cup 2006. Turkey finished second in their group but failed to qualify for the finals as they lost out to Switzerland in the Play-offs. The Turks 4-2 win in the second leg wasn't enough to see them through as they were defeated on the away goals rule having lost the first leg 2-0
