After issues with their 2002 sleeveless kit, The Indomitable Lions once again courted controversy in 2004 when Puma provided a one-piece set of kits for the 2004 African Cup of Nations. An outraged FIFA sanctioned the side, resulting in a court case where Cameroon were forced to revert to traditional shirts and shorts.
