Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Nunez during the 2004-05 season. Although Nunez was only a bit-part player during his only season on Merseyside, he had a successful year under Rafa Benítez, winning the Champions League in a thrilling final against AC Milan. Nunez was on the bench during the legendary night in Istanbul and played the last 5 minutes in the 1-0 Semi-Final win against Premier League rivals Chelsea. The Spaniard played 18 times in the League and scored his only goal in the League Cup Final defeat to Chelsea. The following year Nunez signed for La Liga side Celta Vigo, where he would play 3 seasons under Spanish coach Fernando Vázquez.
