The midfielder joined the side this season from Modena and made 33 appearances in all competitions as La Leonessa struggled to fill the void left by Roberto Baggio and suffered relegation to Serie B after a 19th place finish. The former Como man scored once this year in a win over Messina and stayed on for one more season in Lombardy before joining Genoa in 2006.
