Messi also made his debut La Liga and Champions League appearances this season and scored his first goal for the club against Albacete after a sublime lofted assist from Ronaldinho. This would be the first goal of many for the youngster and Ronaldinho's assist gave the world just a small glimpse into the magical partnership that would follow.
