Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Turchi in the UEFA Cup 3rd Round 2nd leg match against PSV played the Philips Stadion on the 3rd March 2004. This was the club's first season in European competition since 79-80 and after successfully navigating their way through the Intertoto Cup they went on a run to the third round beating Dundee and Aris along the way. The Dutch giants PSV had dropped into the competition from the Champions League though and posed a bigger challenge. The first leg at a water logged Stadio Renato Curi ended in a 0-0 draw so they travelled to Eindhoven with hope. Unfortunately the Grifoni ran into Kezman in prolific form, he bagged two in a 3-1 victory for the hosts and the run was over. Things soon went from bad to worse for the bianco e rosso with their league form suffering as a consequence of the European commitments they ended up being relegated from Serie A after a run of 6 years in the top flight and have so far sadly not yet returned to date.
