info & sizing

Player - Experienced tough tackling full back Nicky Eaden #19

Features

  • Correct player size print and Nationwide Football League sleeve patches professionally heat pressed
  • Authentic signature to reverse
  • Given to a referee as a gift and comes from their own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided

Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Eaden during the 2002-04 period. The full back joined the side on loan from Birmingham 2002 and fired the Latics to the Second Division title in his first season at the JJB as they finished 14 points clear of second placed Crewe with 100 points. He signed a permanent deal in the North West as Wigan looked to make it back-to-back promotions and reach the promised land of the Premier League for the first time in 2003-04. This shirt rolled over to that season as Eaden made 50 appearances as Paul Jewell's men fell just short of a Playoff place. He would be part of the squad that would win promotion the following year before transferring to Nottingham Forest.
