Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn in the friendly match against Manchester United played in Aarhus on the 6th August 2002. FC Aarhus had been formed in 1999 following a merger between Aarhus Fremad and Skovbakken IK with the goal of becoming one of Denmark's top teams. Getting the mighty Manchester United to come and play them was a high point in this tumultuous time for Aarhus. Despite getting thrashed 5-0 by a full-strength Red Devils with van Nistelrooy, Forlan, Giggs and Solskjaer all on the scoresheet. A year later and the FC Aarhus project was disbanbed and Aarhus Fremad were resurrected, the club still play in the third tier of Danish football today
