Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Staunton during the 2002-03 season. The Irish international was in the final season of his second spell at Villa Park and made 32 appearances in all competitions for Graham Taylor's side helping them avoid relegation with a 16th place finish. Staunton had first appeared for Villa between 1991-98 where he had helped the side to 2 League Cup trophies, he returned to the Midlands in 2000 after a 2 year stint at Liverpool and guided the Villans to the Intertoto Cup in his first season back. A legendary Irish international he earned a superb 102 caps for his country the last of which came in June 2002 and bagged 8 international goals as well as featuring for the Boys in Green at 3 World Cups.
