Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Debono during the 2002 World Cup Group 3 qualifying match against Denmark played at Ta'Qali National Stadium, Attard on 24th March 2001. This was the side's fourth group match, having already lost two and drawn one, and they did not fare much better here as Denmark romped to a 5-0 victory with Ebbe Sand grabbing a hat-trick before Heintze and Jensen added the extras. The minnows went on to lose their remaining 6 group matches as they finished bottom of the group with their only point coming in a 0-0 draw against Czech Republic. Debono played the full match and featured in 9 of the side's 10 qualifiers. The defender won 56 caps in total for his country between 1996-2002 and enjoyed spells with Valletta and Sliema Wanderers.
