Notes - Top tier Lotto boots used by several players during the early 2000s. The PU Vento is a fine example of quality Italian craftsmanship, made with soft 'K' leather upper for soft touch, durability and optimal comfort. The upper also features a fold-over tongue that is typical with Lotto boots made around this era, along with the Italian flag to signify the manufacturer. The Vento features a revolutionary Adapto system which acts as a counter sheet in the rear part of the shoe that envelops the heel to offer adaptability and support. Like on a number of other models, a BFC (Bio-mechanical Foot Control) footboard is positioned above the outsole to support natural flexibility and rebound to the foot arch for a better fitting all round boot. The outsole itself features a TPU composite for increased strength and minimal weight, whilst being made with punto-flex for maximum performance from the 12 moulded studs on firm ground surfaces. Lotto boots were a popular choice in the early 2000s, worn by some of the top players in Serie A including Cafu and 2004 Ballon d'Or winner Andriy Shevchenko.
