Rare home shirt as worn when the club suffered a shock relegation to Serie B after picking up only 22 points. In the latter half of the campaign, future footballing cult hero Adriano would get his first real taste of Italian football on loan from Inter. His 6 goals in 15 league games would not soften the blow however, as post-season the club went bankrupt and were refused a place in Serie B for the following campaign and had to re-establish as Florentia Viola, starting again in Serie C2
