Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Witschge in the 2001-02 season. It is not known which particular match this shirt was worn in with the unfortunate typo by the kitroom. Witschge had joined the club on loan from Ajax for the season and made 26 appearances scoring 1 goal as he returned to La Liga where he had played for Barcelona in the early 90's. Alaves were on the back of the greatest season in their history in which the Babazorros had memorably reached the Final of the UEFA Cup. Some of that legendary side had departed but others remained and Mané was able to guide them to a highly competent 7th place finish. Alaves alternated between shirts with Alpine and Guascor sponsors in this season
