Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Daems in the 2000 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification Play-Offs 1st leg against Holland played at the Abe Lenstra, Heerenveen on the 13th November '99. Belgium had topped their group but had to face their rivals in the play-offs in order to secure a place at the Final's in Slovakia. The side had high hopes of progressing after securing a 2-2 draw here with Roussel and Van Handen Hoven giving them the lead at one point before Bouma equalised. Those hopes would be dashed though back on home soil as they suffered a 2-0 defeat. Daems went on to play most of his career in Germany for Borussia Mönchengladbach and represented the senior team 7 teams between 2004 and 2009.
