Notes - Classic design third shirt as worn by Defoe on his debut for the Hammers. The young striker made his debut in a League Cup match with Walsall and started his career as he meant to go on, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win. The striker was then loaned to Bournemouth by manager Harry Redknapp who tipped the youngster for greatness and the he delivered, scoring in ten consecutive matches for the Cherries, finishing his loan spell with 18 goals in 29 appearances.
