Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Giannichedda for the Serie A match against Venezia, played at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo on 29th August 1999. The Friulani were looking to get their campaign off to the best of starts here with a victory. An early Roberto Muzzi strike put them on the right path after just 10 minutes but Filippo Maniero was on hand to restore parity for the hosts with 18 minutes to play. He was sent off shortly after but Udinese couldn't capitalise as both sides walked away with a point. Giannichedda played the full match and was in his 5th season with the Bianconeri after joining from Sora in 1995. He made 37 appearances in all competitions this year as Udinese finished 8th in Serie A. The midfielder stayed on for one more season at Stadio Friuli before joining Lazio in the summer of 2001.
