The former Spurs and Crystal Palace man joined the side from Barnsley in March 2000 and helped The Lions to a 5th place finish in the Second Division qualifying for the playoffs where they narrowly lost out to Wigan. The defender stayed with the side until his retirement in 2003 when he called time on a 13 year playing career, he later took the reigns at Millwall as manger in 2005 but couldn't stop the side being relegated in his only season as gaffer.
