Notes - Rare third shirt as worn when the side lost out to Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League Quarter Finals. The marauding left-back continued his impressive form for Real Madrid after making it to the 1998 World Cup Final with Brazil, scoring 5 goals in 47 appearances for Los Blancos. The explosive full back was unable to propel his team to the title though as they fell 11 points short of Louis van Gaal's Barcelona
